What to look for
- Specific details. A letter that names a real good deed, a pet or a sibling is far more convincing than a name dropped into a template. Check how much of the letter you can shape.
- Mailed or printable. A real envelope and postmark delight kids but need ordering weeks ahead. Printable letters work the same evening.
- The extras you will actually use. A Nice List certificate and an envelope make the letter feel official; check whether they are included or extra.
- Paper size. Outside the U.S. you need A4. All the printable makers here offer Letter and A4.
- No promises Santa can’t keep. Read the letter before you print it: make sure it doesn’t promise a gift you are not giving.
