Free printable letter to Santa template for kids
Print this fill-in-the-blanks letter to Santa for free: your child writes their name, age, the kind things they did this year and three Christmas wishes, then draws Santa a picture in the box. Four designs, US Letter or A4, no signup.
Tips by age
- Ages 3–4: let them draw the picture and tell you the answers; you write the words, they add their “signature”.
- Ages 5–6: they can copy short answers you write on a scrap of paper first.
- Ages 7 and up: encourage a full sentence in “This year I was kind when I…”: it’s the line Santa will reply to.
What to do with the letter
Keep it somewhere special, or leave it out with the cookies on Christmas Eve. Before you hand it over, read what your child wrote: the good deeds and wishes are exactly what makes Santa’s reply feel personal.
Turn their letter into a reply from Santa: enter what your child wrote and Santa answers, mentioning their good deeds, their wishes and their pets by name. Free to read and print.
